REQUEST FOR REMOVAL OF GRIEVANCES REGARDING COMPUTER PERSONNEL UP-GRADATION AND ALLOWANCE
COMPUTER PERSONNEL UP-GRADATION application was submitted to the CM Punjab again today. In application, there were referenced different cadre degradation posts by qualification in KPK and Sindh.
Computer allowance also the same from previous 20 years, it is also requested to increase 200% computer allowance. You can find the original applications below that were written by the ACP Punjab president and members.

It is respectfully stated that the Government of Punjab had set up a committee headed by the Additional Chief Secretary for the up-gradation/re-structuring of Computer Personnel in Punjab. After the recommendations of the committee, Finance Department Punjab issued notification No.FD.PC.40.43/2017 dated 14-12-2018 for upgradation/service structure on the basis of qualification, Intermediate BS-12 & Graduation BS-15 (Annex-A).
2. It is pertinent to mention here that Finance Department Punjab up-graded
the Clerical posts twice on 10th September 2007 and 4th January 2016 on the analogy of Pakhtunkhwa. (Annex-B & C).
Similarly, different posts were upgraded on 26 July 2017 without any conditional qualification on the analogy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in relaxation of the ban but again ignored the IT/Computer Personnel. (Annex-D).
3. Grievances are briefly stated below:
- The requisite qualification for the post of Assistant (BS-16) is only Graduation (without any experience, while the qualification for the post of Computer Operator / Data Entry Operator in the I.T cadre is Graduation (2nd Division) plus 4 months of training in computer language but it is upgraded in BS-12 to BS-15 instead of BS-16 which is discrimination.
- Finance Department Punjab up-graded the clerical posts on 04 January 2016 on the analogy of the Government of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- Stenographers who are appointed on Intermediate qualification up-graded twice within 4.5 years on 12.02.2013 from BS-12 to BS-14 and again on
It is further added that the post of Stenographer, Senior Scale Stenographer, Personal Assistant and Private Secretary was upgraded on 12.02.2013 in relaxation of ban.
